Our Vintage Shona Hari pots are handcrafted from brown clay. These pots are part of Zimbabwe’s traditional pottery. Pottery of this type has been traced back to the earliest Iron age found in Southern Africa. These unique pieces represent centuries of culture and heritage.
Story behind the Product:
Our Hari Pots were handmade in the village of Masvingo, Zimbabwe by an elderly Woman within the community. She has made these pots for decades, taught by her grandmother. The creation of the Pots aids in the preservation of these unique indigenous crafts, furthermore nurturing a new generation of pottery makers.
