The Name Vheneka is from the native Zimbabwean language of Shona and means to ‘shed light’. Our brand name is our reminder of what we strive to do. At Vheneka we partner with renowned local artisans to deliver handmade premium lifestyle products to global customers. The diverse beauty of African artistry is embedded in every product through new takes on indigenous textiles and reinterpretation of artisanal techniques. We work closely with our suppliers to create pieces that intertwine function with simplicity and most importantly tell a story.
