Our Linen Ceramic Plates have a distinctive and striking design. Each plate is made from naturally sourced porcelain, first hand moulded then imprinted with their unique linen textured print. This beautiful collection brings versatile food presentation to any table.
Story behind the Product:
Our Ceramic range is hand-made in Marondera Zimbabwe in collaboration with local artisan Nyari Savannah. Nyari built her business as a third-generation potter with over 25 years of experience. Her grandfather made traditional Shona Hari clay pots handing down indigenous pottery techniques. Nyari incorporates these techniques into each of her designs by creating products with modern adaptations. All of her ceramics are made from locally dug clay with natural glazes and materials sourced from local farming areas.
Our partnership with Nyari Savannah allowed us explore more sustainable routes to creating simplistic ceramic homeware products. Each product is made with a combination of modern and traditional techniques ensuring the highest quality and craftsmanship

Note : Our linen plates are hand moulded therefore the surface of each plate is not completely smooth, for a natural rustic aesthetic.
